Heavy traffic at Quezon Memorial Circle today

MANILA, Philippines — There will be heavy traffic at the Quezon Memorial Circle today due to a peace covenant signing and interfaith rally of the Philippine National Police (PNP) for the 2019 polls, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said yesterday.

The PNP will kick off the election period through a “unity walk” that will start from the Quezon City hall to the Quezon Memorial Circle, MMDA general manager Jojo Garcia said.

He said that some parts of the streets from the city hall to the circle will be occupied by around 5,000 participants of the event, which will be held from 4 a.m. to 7 a.m.
