3 killed in shooting

CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna, Philippines — Three persons were shot dead in separate crime incidents in Region 4-A over the weekend, police said yesterday.

In Laguna, a man identified only by his alias “Reynan” died on the spot when an unidentified gunman shot him in Barangay Malaban, Biñan City.

Meanwhile, Ruel Magtibay was shot dead by a lone assailant while he was standing in front of a motel in Barangay Sta. Clara, Batangas City. He died while he was brought to Golden Gate Hospital.

Irish Macatangay was sitting at the terrace of his neighbor’s house when a gunman barged in and shot him in Barangay Del Rosario, Tiaong, Quezon.
