Village exec in Lingayen nabbed for guns, ammo

LINGAYEN, Pangasinan, Philippines — A village councilman in this town was arrested on Sunday for illegal possession of firearms and ammunition.

Rodolfo de Guzman was collared after a raid on his house in Barangay Malawa reportedly yielded a caliber .38 revolver and ammunition, police said.

Pangasinan Regional Trial Court Branch 70 Judge  Mervin Jovito Samadan issued the search warrant.
