6 drug suspects killed in Luzon

CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna, Philippines — Six drug suspects were killed in separate police operations in Bulacan and Cavite in the past two days.

Four of the fatalities reportedly shot it out yesterday with police officers in separate incidents in Bacoor, Dasmariñas City, General Trias and Silang, all in Cavite.

Three of the fatalities were identified as Cresenciano Regondola, Diego Ramos and Dodi Daga.

Regondola died while being taken to the General Trias Medical Hospital on Saturday.

Ramos died at the scene after an alleged shootout that occurred Barangay Molino 2 in Bacoor at around 1 a.m. yesterday.

More than two hours later, Daga reportedly pulled out a gun after sensing that he was dealing with an undercover agent in Barangay Paliparan 1 in Dasmariñas. He died at the scene.

Police have yet to identify the slain drug suspect in Silang.

Thirty-two drug suspects were also arrested in separate police operations in the province.

Meanwhile, in Bulacan, police shot dead two drug suspects, identified as Ambo and Clifford, following a sting in Bustos town on Saturday.

The suspects reportedly pulled out their firearms after sensing that they were dealing with undercover agents in Barangay Cambaog.

Police recovered 21 plastic sachets said to contain shabu and marked money from the suspects.
