BACOLOD CITY, Philippines — An American man was gunned down in Silay, Negros Occidental on Tuesday.
Eric Hendrickson, 57, was declared dead on arrival at the Teresita Lopez Jalandoni Hospital.
Gilbert Apellido, 40, and his nephew Neil Brian Corseno, 18, were arrested in a follow-up operation.
Police said Apellido admitted that he was drunk when he shot Hendrickson following an altercation. – Emmanuel Tupas
