Quake jolts Agusan del Norte

MANILA, Philippines — A magnitude 4 earthquake shook parts of Agusan del Norte before dawn yesterday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said. 

No damage or injuries were reported from the tremor which occurred at about 2:31 a.m.

The epicenter of the quake was traced 15 kilometers northeast of Jabonga town.

The tremor was felt at Intensity 3 in Jabonga and Intensity 2 in Kitcharao, Tubay and Santiago.

Phivolcs said it was not expecting aftershocks.
