2 dead in Ilocos road mishaps

TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan, Philippines —Two persons died while crossing the highway in Ilocos on Thursday. 

Eric Gadia, 33, was hit by a passenger bus in Barangay Ayudante, Candon, Ilocos Sur. The driver of the Fariñas bus, Angelito Paguyo, 60, surrendered.

Divina Duyau, 79, was run over by a motorcycle in Barangay 11, Laoag. She died while being treated at the Governor Roque Ablan Sr. Memorial Hospital where motorcycle rider Jansen Mabbagu,  22, was also taken for treatment.
