ZAMBOANGA CITY, Philippines — Anti-narcotics agents and naval intelligence personnel seized P5 million in shabu and arrested five suspects in a buy-bust operation over the weekend.
Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency regional director Lyndon Aspacio said they arrested Sahari Addalani Sabturani, alias Dante Solaiman, a member of the Kubal Drug Group. Sabturani is on the PDEA drug list.

Aspacio said personnel of PDEA 9 and 10, Naval Intelligence Service Group and Joint Task Force Zamboanga conducted the buy-bust operation outside a hotel parking lot in Barangay Sta. Maria on Saturday afternoon.
The arresting team cornered and apprehended the five suspects once the test buy was done.
The arresting team recovered around a kilogram of suspected shabu in 20 heat-sealed plastic sachets, P3,000 used in the bust, a Ford Ranger pickup truck and a motorcycle in the arrest.
The suspects will be charged for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act. — Roel Pareño
