Leyte bettor wins P234.2–M lotto jackpot

MANILA, Philippines — A bettor from Villaba town in Leyte won the jackpot of the 6/49 Super Lotto drawn on Sunday, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) announced yesterday.

Alexander Balutan, PCSO general manager, said the still unidentified bettor hit the six-digit winning combination 29-25-19-23-07-30, which had the jackpot of P23,261,400.

The winning ticket was bought from a lotto outlet at the town’s public market.

Balutan said 122 other bettors won P19,500 each for guessing five of the winning numbers.

The 6/49 Super Lotto is drawn every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.
