MANILA, Philippines - The Light Rail Transit Line 1 (LRT-1) will be closed from April 13 to 16 for repairs that will be done during the Holy Week break.
In a statement yesterday, LRT-1 operator Light Rail Manila Corp. (LRMC) said the rail line, which runs from Roosevelt in Quezon City to Baclaran in Pasay, will not be operational from Maundy Thursday to Easter Sunday.
The LRMC said maintenance work will be done on the trains and all of LRT-1’s 20 stations.
“The public is advised to plan ahead and take alternative transportation options during this brief period,” the firm said.
Normal operations will resume at 4:30 a.m. on April 17.
