MANILA, Philippines - A fire razed a two-story Ilocos Empanada store in Barangay White Plains, Quezon City yesterday.
The fire started at around 8:41 a.m. as a worker frying empanadas left them unattended, said city fire marshal Senior Superintendent Manuel Manuel.
No one was reported hurt or killed in the fire, which was put out by around 9:34 a.m., he said.
Arson investigators have yet to estimate the property damage caused by the fire.
