BUTUAN CITY, Philippines – A village chief was gunned down in Cabadbaran City, Agusan del Norte on Sunday night.
Teofilo Curato III, 48, of Barangay Poblacion 12 was walking with village watchmen when unidentified motorcycle-riding men fired at him.
Cabadbaran City Mayor Katrina Marie Mortola condemned the killing and called for a speedy investigation of the case.
