Lingayen airport closed for 4 days

Rudy Santos - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Lingayen airport in Pangasinan will be closed from Oct. 30 to Nov. 2.

The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines has issued a notice to airmen (Notam) on the closure of the airport for safety reasons, noting that people pass through the runway in going to the cemetery.

The airport is beside the Lingayen public cemetery.

Ronald Estabillo, CAAP area manager 1, said the Notam applies to flying schools using the airport.
