PAGASA: Eastern part of Philippines to experience rains Sunday

The state weather bureau said partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms will prevail over the country.

MANILA, Philippines (Philippines News Agency) — The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) forecasts rains over the eastern section of the country on Sunday.

In its 5 a.m. weather bulletin, the state weather bureau said partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms will prevail over the country.

PAGASA also noted a high pressure area, which brings clear skies, is affecting Luzon.

Luzon and Visayas will also have light to moderate winds coming from the east to southeast, affecting their seas to be slight to moderate.

Mindanao, on the other hand, will experience slight to moderate seas due to light to moderate winds from the east.
