MANILA, Philippines - Police and anti-narcotics agents arrested a suspected pusher who yielded over a P1 million worth of methamphetamine hydrochloride, or shabu, during a raid in Cebu City, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) said Thursday.

PDEA Director General Arturo Cacdac Jr. identified the suspect Roy Barcelon Cadajar, 26, resident of A. Lopez, Barangay Calamba, Cebu City.

Belated reports the PDEA main office in Quezon City showed that last March 23, around 5:45 p.m., combined operatives of PDEA Regional Office 7 and Regional Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operations Task Group implemented a search warrant issued by the Regional Trial Court Branch 21, Cebu City against Marilyn Mayang in Sitio Mahayahay, Barangay Calamba.

Mayang eluded authorities but her cohort, Cadajar, who was present during the operation, was arrested.

Cadajar yielded 30 plastic sachets of suspected shabu weighing approximately 85 grams with an estimated value of P1.003 million and P3,100 cash in various denominations.

Cadajar and Mayang will be facing charges for violation of Section 11 (Possession of Dangerous Drugs), Article II of Republic Act 9165, or The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
