ZAMBOANGA CITY - Two persons died and 12 others were injured when a passenger jeepney rammed a concrete post along the highway in Barangay Pasobolong on Wednesday morning.
The fatalities were identified as Romualdo Apolinario, 32 and Poul Drick Atilano, 14.
The injured passengers were rushed to different hospitals in the city.
Police said the jeepney driven by John Michael Fabian was speeding along the Ma. Clara Lorenzo Lobregat Highway when it sideswiped a motorcycle. It swerved slammed into a concrete post. The accident happened at around 6:30 a.m.
The driver was among the injured victims.
