Body burned, cemented in drum

SANTA MARIA, Bulacan, Philippines – A body was found burned and cemented inside a drum in Barangay Parada here Thursday night.

The drum was found by residents who complained of the stench coming from it, said Superintendent Rodolfo Hernandez, town police chief.

Police cut a portion of the drum and found a head and hand protruding from the cement that encased the cadaver.

Investigators have yet to determine if the victim was male or female.
