Woman, 72, raped in South Cotabato

KORONADAL CITY, Philippines – Police have arrested a 32-year-old man on suspicion of raping a 72-year-old woman in T’boli, South Cotabato on Monday.

Felizardo Bane-bane allegedly molested the victim in a forested area in Sitio Lamsini, Barangay Sinolon around 10 a.m., Chief Inspector Jose Marie Simangan, T’boli police chief said in an interview over Radyo Bombo.

Bane-bane, who was detained at the T’boli police station, has denied the allegations.
