MANILA, Philippines - Seventeen suspected drug pushers and users were arrested in a three-day anti-drug campaign that started last Friday in several towns in Rizal.

Senior Superintendent Bernabe Balba, provincial police director, said his men recovered 64 plastic sachets of shabu with an estimated street value P102,000.

Among those arrested was Rene Pumar and his two companions, who yielded 21 sachets of shabu and bullets during a raid in Tanay.

Members of the Binangonan and San Mateo police arrested four and seven persons, respectively, who were caught in shabu sessions.

In Cardona, police arrested Melsiketa Agoncillo, who yielded 12 plastic sachets said to contain shabu.

Balba said Agoncillo was listed in their order of battle for drug offenders.
