Suspect in killing of Cherry Pie Picache's mom nabbed

MANILA, Philippines - Police arrested on Wednesday the primary suspect in the killing of the mother of actress Cherry Pie Picache in Laguna.

The arrested suspect was identified as Michael Flores, 29.

Joint teams from the Philippine National Police and the National Bureau of Investigation nabbed Flores outside a subdivision in Sta. Rosa town.

Flores is the alleged owner of the bloodied shorts and shirt left inside the house of Picache's mother, 75-year-old Zenaida Sison in Quezon City last September 19.

Picache's mother was stabbed to death inside her home by burglars who took her cash and P500,000 worth of jewelry.
