MANILA, Philippines - Five vehicles on Friday figured in an accident along the North Luzon Expressway in Pampanga, injuring several persons.
Quoting NLEX personnel, a radio report said the accident, which happened around 5 a.m. at Kilometer 53 southbound of the thoroughfare, involved two trucks, two buses and a pickup truck.
The report said that a Victory Liner bus slammed the rear of a truck carrying live chickens, causing the truck to tilt and fall on its side.
The bus also hit a speeding Dominion bus, the report added.
The accident resulted to a four-kilometer traffic snarl in the area.
