3 dead, 10 hurt in NLEX mishap

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga, Philippines – A burst rear tire caused a Toyota Granvia Wagon to roll over and ram a concrete barrier along the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) in Balagtas, Bulacan Saturday, killing three people and hurting 10 others, authorities said.

Reports identified the fatalities as Pastora Dulfo, Allen Joseph de Castro and Victoria Santos, all of Paombong, Bulacan.

The victims, all relatives, had come from Meycauayan town where they were treated in a restaurant by one of them who had just arrived from Japan, when they met the tragedy.
