PNP chief orders inventory of Tarlac fugitives

CAMP MACABULOS, Tarlac City ,Philippines  – Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Deputy Director General Nicanor Bartolome yesterday ordered the Tarlac police to make an inventory of warrants of arrest against wanted persons in the province.

Buhayin niyo ang mga nasa listahan ng wanted persons at mag-isyu ng mga warrants of arrest against them,” Bartolome said during the celebration of the 140th birth anniversary of General Francisco Macabulos here, where he was guest of honor.

He said that by serving these warrants of arrest, the crime rate in the province will go down.

He also warned police chiefs to live up to their tasks and responsibilities or face dismissal.

Bartolome said the PNP is going hi-tech in crime reporting with the introduction of the electronic-based blotter system, which is already being used in the National Capital Region.

He said Tarlac police will be the first outside Metro Manila to launch the e-blotter system.
