CAMP HAMAC, Dipolog City ,Philippines – A top field commander of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF), who was on the police’s wanted list for murder and extortion, was killed in an encounter with police and military forces in Barangay Lakiki, Sibuco town Saturday.
A flash report from the Sibuco municipal police station identified the slain rebel leader as Abdulmajid Abdulhaman alias Commander Mullong, said to be in charge of the mountain towns of Sibuco, Siocon, Gutalac, and Sirawai.
