CABUYAO, Laguna – Police gunned down two suspects in the killing of Biñan councilor Rodrigo Casas last November in an encounter here Saturday morning.
Chief Superintendent Samuel Pagdilao Jr., Calabarzon police director, said only one of the slain suspects was identified as Ernante Hitape.
Pagdilao said the suspects belonged to the Landicho-Asero group involved in highway robberies, car thefts, and drug trafficking in the Calabarzon region.
