John Legend returns to Philippines for 2-day show

MANILA, Philippines — Grammy-winning singer John Legend is coming back to the Philippines for a special two-day concert.
The relatively new Proscenium Theater in Makati had been teasing for some time that "a legend was coming," later confirming it was indeed the "Ordinary People" and "All For Me" artist.
Legend will stage his "An Evening of Songs & Stories" shows at the venue on September 3 and 4, 2026.
"You saved room for love, and now the wait is over," the theater said on social media. "Hear every piano key, witness all his emotions, and get ready for an unforgettable evening of songs and stories in a beautifully intimate setting."
The venue only holds 780 people so tickets — which begin selling via the TicketWorld website and outlets on July 5 — will be limited.
This will be Legend's fourth time in the Philippines but his first in nearly a decade. His last visit was in 2018.
His other hits include "Save Room," "Glory," "Tonight (Best You Ever Had)," "Green Light," "Love Me Now," "Used to Love You," and "You & I (Nobody in the World)."
Legend is one of 28 people to achieved the EGOT — winning a competitive Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony.
