Simple Plan returning to Manila this November
MANILA, Philippines — Rock band Simple Plan is set for a Philippine comeback later this year as part of its "The Bigger Than You Think!" tour marking the group's silver anniversary.
Show promoter Wilbros Live confirmed the group will be performing at the Araneta Coliseum on November 25, 2026.
Joining the band as a special guest is fellow Canadian artist LØLØ, who's toured with Simple Plan several times now since 2021 for the joint "Pop Punk's Still Not Dead" tour with New Found Glory.
Manila will be the band's third stop in a Southeast Asia swing after Malaysia and Singapore followed by two Indonesia stops.
Simple Plan — composed of Pierre Bouvier, Chuck Comeau, Jeff Stinco and Sébastien Lefebvre — last visited the Philippines in 2023 as part of their "The Harder Than It Looks" tour, performing at the New Frontier Theater just meters away from the Big Dome.
"It's been three years since our last visit and we're so grateful to have the opportunity tocome back to a place we love so much and that has supported us since day one," the band said in a statement. "We're celebrating our 25th anniversary as a band so these shows will be very special."
The band added that the planned set list would include their "biggest songs from every era of their career, a ton of fan favorites, and songs rarely played live."
"It's gonna be a blast and we hope to see you all at the shows!" Simple Plan teased to end.
Selling of tickets will be via the Ticketnet website, first an artist presale on May 4 then the general selling the following — both starting at 11 a.m.
Simple Plan is best known for hit songs "Perfect", "Jet Lag", "I'm Just A Kid", "Addicted", "Welcome to My Life", and "Young & Dumb" with Avril Lavigne.
