AiAi Delas Alas bears new name AADA with comeback single

MANILA, Philippines — AiAi Delas Alas is back with a novelty song — and a new name — in celebration of her 35th year in showbiz.
The comedienne signed with ABS-CBN’s label StarPop to release her comeback single “Haliparot Delulu.” She will be carrying the name AADA for her return as a recording artist.
“After 11 years bilang lucky number ko siya,” AiAi said in a statement. She will be celebrating her 61st birthday on November 11.
“Haliparot Delulu” is composed by StarPop label head Roque “Rox” Santos and ABS-CBN Music creatives, content, and operations head Jonathan Manalo. It is arranged, mixed, and mastered by Theo Martel.
The label describes AiAi’s comeback single as a “bold and fun pop song" that talks about “ghosters” and modern dating.
AiAi shot to stardom via the box-office movie franchise, “Ang Tanging Ina,” which has three movies released in 2003, 2008 and 2010 under ABS-CBN’s film outfit Star Cinema. Due to its massive success, she released her first album under Star Records titled “Ang Tanging Ina Nyo.”
Her last show with ABS-CBN was Anne Curtis’ “Dyesebel” in 2014, and she left the station to work with its ertswhile rival GMA-7. She also released “Walang Pinipili” with Ex Battallion in 2017 under GMA Music.
