MANILA, Philippines — Hihingin ni LTO Chief Vigor Mendoza ang tulong ng Philippine National Police (PNP) sa pagsasagawa ng regular operations para habulin ang mga naglipanang fixers sa ahensiya sa buong bansa.
Sinabi ni Mendoza na kasama sa kampanya na malipol ang mga fixers, yaong mga gumagamit ng social media para sa kanilang modus operandi.
“We are planning to conduct operations on a regular basis. Sustained operations by joining the PNP and the LTO will surely make these fixers think twice before engaging in their illicit activities,” pahayag ni Mendoza.
Ang operasyon laban sa mga fixers ay dagdag sa mga naka-deploy na “mystery applicants” na naatasang iulat ang status ng operasyon at serbisyo sa mga transaksyon sa mga tanggapan ng LTO.
“We must ensure that the services of the LTO are efficient and effective, and less complicated for the public. We will work towards more simple measures as we do away from bureaucratic processes,”sabi pa ni Mendoza.
