Halos 6,000 Quezon City employees nabiyayaan ng healthcare, insurance
MANILA, Philippines — Protektado ang kalusugan ng mga regular employees ng Quezon City government dahil nabigyan na sila ng healthcare and insurance plans ng lokal na pamahalaan bilang health benefits.
Ang health plan ay kaloob sa 5,962 current regular city government employees at bagong mga tauhan para sa isang taong health coverage ng government-owned Cocolife.
“The local government only paved the way to make this possible for our employees. This has been long overdue and we’re just happy to finally provide our civil servants with some kind of support in terms of healthcare,” pahayag ni Mayor Joy Belmonte.
Sa ilalim ng health plan, ang empleyado na miyembro nito ay entitled sa maximum benefit limit na P100,000 per illness kada taon.
Ang ilang mga benepisyu dito ay annual physical examination, out-patient services tulad ng diagnostic procedures, minor surgeries, speech at physical therapy, prenatal at postnatal care, dental coverage, at life insurance.
“We’re currently exploring other flexible terms to extend these healthcare plans to our non-plantilla employees so they won’t be burdened with hefty contributions,” dagdag ni Belmonte.
