LIST: Train schedules for Holy Week 2019

MANILA, Philippines (UPDATED: 3:20 p.m., April 17) — Major train lines in Metro Manila will halt their operations during the observance of Holy Week from April 18 to 21.

The suspension in operations would give way to maintenance works for the Light Rail Transit Lines 1 and 2 as well as the Metro Rail Transit-3.

The management of MRT-3 earlier announced that the maintenance break this year is longer than the shutdown in 2018. Both LRT lines will have normal operations from Holy Monday (April 15) to Holy Wednesday (April 17).

The Philippine National Railways on Wednesday announced there will be no PNR train operations on Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and Black Saturday. Train operations will resume in the afternoon of Easter Sunday.

Here are the train schedules for the Holy Week:

LRT-1

• April 15, 16, 17 (Holy Monday to Wednesday) – 4:30 a.m. to 10:15 p.m. for Baclaran; 4:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. for Roosevelt
• April 18, 19, 20, 21 (Maundy Thursday to Easter Sunday) – No revenue operation
• April 22 – Resumption of normal operations

LRT-2

• April 17 (Holy Wednesday) – Last commercial train departure at 7 p.m. for Santolan; 7:30 p.m. for Recto
• April 18, 19, 20, 21 (Maundy Thursday to Easter Sunday) – No commercial operation
• April 22 – Resumption of normal operations

MRT-3

• April 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21 (Holy Monday to Easter Sunday) – No commercial operation
• April 22 – Resumption of normal operations

PNR 

Metro North and Metro South 

• April 17 (Holy Wednesday) - Train bound to Calamba, Laguna (MSC 1907) and last trip bound to Alabang (MSC 1937) are cancelled. Regular schedule for other train trips.
• April 18, 19, 20 (Maundy Thursday to Black Saturday) - No commercial train operations
• April 21 (Easter Sunday) - Train operations will resume at 1:37 p.m. (Tutuban-Alabang) and 1:02 p.m. (Tutuban-Governor Pascual)

Bicol

• April 18, 19, 20 (Maundy Thursday to Black Saturday) - No commercial train operations
• April 21 (Easter Sunday) - Trains operations will resume at 3:30 p.m.
