MANILA, Philippines — Employees of the Manila city hall have received their yearend bonus on top of the P5,000 cash gift from the national government, Mayor Joseph Estrada announced yesterday.
Estrada released the budget for the allowances of the members of the Manila Police District and Bureau of Jail Management and Penology.
He also approved the second tranche of the employees’ salary increases amounting to P280 million.
The mayor urged city hall workers to work hard and improve the delivery of services to the public.
