Pregnant woman slain in Malabon

MANILA, Philippines - A woman who was seven months pregnant was stabbed to death in Malabon City yesterday.

Pamela Donaire, 20, was found with multiple stab wounds in her rented house on Asero street, Barangay Tugatog at around 11:45 a.m.

Pedro Asistol, owner of the house, said Donaire and her partner, Raymund Serafin, had just moved into his house recently.

Asistol said Serafin was working in Bacolod.

Chief Inspector Rey Medina, Malabon police chief investigator, said there were no signs of forced entry and the victim’s stab wounds were all fatal.

“She probably knew her assailant,” Medina said.
