Woman charged for cyber porn shows

MANILA, Philippines - A 37-year-old woman, arrested for having her 10-year-old daughter perform in cyber porn shows at their home in Taguig City Wednesday, was charged before the Department of Justice yesterday.

The National Bureau of Investigation filed charges of violating Article 201 of the Revised Penal Code, Republic Act 9208 (the anti-trafficking in persons law), Republic Act 9775 (the anti-child pornography law) and Republic Act 7610 (the law giving special protection to children against abuse and exploitation).

The woman said she has been setting up shows for nearly two years and performing in them for clients from the United States, Singapore and Hong Kong. She told investigators she charged $30 to $200 per transaction.
