MANILA, Philippines - A two-hour fire hit a residential area in Pasig City yesterday, destroying at least 30 houses and property estimated at P2 million.
The fire started on the second floor of the house occupied by the family of Domingo Santos in Barangay Rosario at about 3 a.m., firefighters said.
No one was hurt in the fire. Arson investigators have yet to determine what caused the blaze.
The fire victims were given shelter at the barangay hall.
