PAF man found dead at Pasay air base

MANILA, Philippines - A Philippine Air Force (PAF) enlisted man was found dead in his office at Villamor Air Base in Pasay City yesterday morning.

The body of Air Force 2nd Class Joebert Esconde Madayag, was discovered by his colleagues at about 8 a.m. yesterday at his office at the PAF headquarters support service.

PAF spokesman Col. Miguel Ernesto Okol said Madayag had been shot, but they are still investigating whether he killed himself or was murdered. He refused to elaborate.

In December year, Airman First Class Jason Reporsado was found dead with a gunshot wound in the body at the barracks of the military police headquarters at Camp Aguinaldo.
