MANILA, Philippines - A woman jumped from the fifth floor of a condominium building in Quezon City after she was blamed for her boyfriend’s suicide.
Mary Joselyn Basilio, 22, suffered contusions on her head when she landed on a Kia Rio, damaging its roof and windshield, parked beside the building in Barangay Kaligayahan at past 10 a.m., according to her father.
She was brought to Commonwealth Hospital and Medical Center. Her father told police his daughter had suffered depression when she was blamed for the death of her boyfriend, who had committed suicide.
She was at the building yesterday after she spent the night with a friend who stays there.
