Manila, Philippines - A man was sentenced to life imprisonment for raping and killing a nursing student in her house in Quezon City in May 2005.
Regional Trial Court Branch 221 Assisting Judge Genie Gapas-Agbada said Kim Ojano admitted raping Jaclyn Margarette Crespo to a reporter. The judge also stated that Ojano’s fingerprints were found a few feet away from the body, while his DNA matched the samples found under Crespo’s fingernails.
