Visiting Japanese missing

MANILA, Philippines - A Japanese man went missing after he jumped out of the taxi he was riding in Manila yesterday.

Taxi driver Edgardo Macabutas, 40, reported the incident to the Manila Police District General Assignment Section.

Police said that Sumihiro Kabawata, 63, was married to a Filipina, who died three years ago, and frequents the country to visit his properties in Basey, Western Samar.
