An unidentified suspect stabbed Daming several times at around 8:30 p.m. along Halamanan Street in Barangay Commonwealth before running away.

Daming was brought to the Fairview General Hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival. Investigators are still trying to determine whether the killing was connected to the victim’s job.

At around 9:45 p.m., vendor Domingo Elegado, 38, was stabbed in Novaliches after he intervened in a fight between two drunk men in front of his house.

Elegado was stabbed by Joselito Peregrino, 46, one of the men he had prevented from fighting. The suspect remains at large.

At around 11:30 p.m., Mildred Pajares, 21, was walking home when Ronnie Lizano, 29, and a companion started chasing her.
