CEBU, Philippines - Consolacion town Mayor Teresa Alegado has urged people who joined the “Suroy Suroy Sugbo North Escapade” to visit the town again.
Alegado welcomed “balikbayans” and those from other cities and provinces outside Cebu as “Suroy Suroy” went to the town.
She said to draw more tourists and capitalists, the town has embarked on a massive development, including repair of town and barangay roads.
“The improvement of the farm-to-market roads is also being given attention,” Alegado said.
She said a number of potential investors that visited the town recently told her that they would put up eco-tourism-related businesses in Consolacion.
The mayor said that her administration will make the town “business friendly.” (FREEMAN)
