Cynics might say that these days, small screen heroines are a dime a dozen. These are also probably the same people who believe that women can never be as interesting as men, so forgive me if I’m inclined to disagree. Rich plotlines and incredible story arcs have allowed a wide range of strong female personalities to flourish—smart/crazy, awkward/assertive (and their quirks go even deeper than that, sometimes).
