Asian Grand Legacy to manage Balayan Bay Boutique Resort

MANILA, Philippines - Premier hotel, resort and recreational property management company Asian Grand Legacy Hotels Corp. (AGLHC) has taken under its wing the operation and management of the Balayan Bay Boutique Resort, a new world-class, eco-tourism and dive spot in Mabini, Batangas set to open this year.

The boutique resort, nestled along the shoreline of Anilao facing Balayan Bay, offers a perfect getaway for family relaxation and water sports activities, and access to top dive sites which the town is famous for among international and local diving enthusiasts.

Just a 2.5-hour drive from Manila, the Balayan Bay Boutique Resort sits on a 7,000-square-meter eco-tourism home, with luxury guest rooms with high ceilings and lofts and equipped with LED television sets with cable programming, air conditioners, huge colonial beds, maxi bars, spacious toilets and baths, and a viewdeck ideal for sunbathing or lounging.

The entire resort is a Wi-Fi zone and has a business center for other needs and requirements of guests.

“We believe in the promise of the Balayan Bay Boutique Resort as a tourist destination and in its potential as an eco-tourism dive resort. Its presence in the industry raises the bar in the way internationally accepted hospitality standards are offered to the local market,” said Miguel Cerqueda (in photo), AGLHC president.

Balayan Bay Boutique Resort is owned by One Bamboo Ridge Inc.

An array of on-site water sports activities such as swimming, jet skiing, snorkeling and diving operated by professional divers is available and accessible to non-resort guests as well. There is also a swimming pool and a billiard hall for relaxation.

As a professional hotel management company, AGLHC offers management services, marketing and sales support, telemarketing of privilege cards, laundry operation services, and centralized purchasing.

At present, AGLHC operates and manages Astoria Plaza in Ortigas, Pasig City; Astoria Boracay; Astoria Bohol in Baclayon with Astoria Palawan opening in the last quarter; Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar in Bagac, Bataan, and The Greenleaf Hotel in General Santos City.

AGLHC is also looking at management opportunities abroad, namely in Hainan, China and Doha, Qatar. The company will also manage the Paseo del Rio Hotel in Cagayan de Oro City in 2014.
