Give the gift of Hope in a Box

MANILA, Philippines - In light of the recent calamities, the creative community has come together to express their deepest yearnings and prayers for the Philippines. They have contributed their personal works to GKonomics, which is producing boxed sets containing all-occasion cards called “Hope in a Box.” Each set will contail 10 randomly selected designs from various artists in a kraft box by a Gawad Kalinga community in Pangil, Laguna.

Over the Christmas season, each card will have an insert for the special purpose of making a donation to the Gawad Kalinga Relocation and Rebuilding Fund and livelihood initiatives of GKonomics. Individual all-occasion cards are handmade in a Gawad Kalinga community in Pangil, Bulacan and are packaged in tens. Each kraft box contains randomly selected designs from various artists. Over the Christmas season, each card will have an insert for the special purpose of making a donation to the Gawad Kalinga Relocation and Rebuilding Fund and the livelihood initiatives of Gkonomics.

A note inside the box reads: “This Christmas, let us take part in the rebirth of the entire region, from whenever we may in the world. By receiving this Card of Hope, you joing the bayanihan movement to help impoverished communities rise up toward a new beginning.

In your name, a donation is being made to the Gawad Kalinga Relocation and Reconstruction Fund to help rebuild GK villages and jumpstart livelihood efforts. Our support for Gawad Kalinga ensures that nobody is left behind.”
