MANILA, Philippines — Energy drink Gatorade has tapped Far Eastern University communications student Drink Water Rivera as the endorser of their No Sugar drink, weeks after his name went viral online.

The mockumentary-like ad starring Drink himself pokes fun at his name and a fascination with drinking water.

"Pinaglihi daw ako ni mama sa tubig, kaya ang pinangalan niya sakin Drink Water. 'Yan ang totoo kong panglan," the student said, with pails, bottles, and jugs behind him; the opening shot even had pitchers and glasses surrounding a baby name book.

Clips of what is meant to be a young Drink are then shown of him stacking water bottles, hugging a fire hydrant, bathing in a water drum, and blowing out a water bottle cake; "Mula noon, hydration is my identity," Drink quips.

These are followed by ylips of present-day Drink cosplaying as a pouring pitcher, asking for water (on the rocks) at a bar, drinking from a water fountain instead of chocolate fondue, getting a "Drink Water" tattoo, and having a water dispenser by his desk.

His fictional bedroom even consists of a waterbed made from a swimming pool, a five-gallon bottle for a lamp, and a water drum for a desk.

Drink then promotes the Gatorade No Sugar beverage as a preferred drink post-workouts and exercising, and his tattoo is completed with "Drinks Gatorade" under his name.

The student has two older sisters with equally distinct names, Chelsea Rice and Cyrel "Winner" Alec.

Other real Filipino names that have gone viral in the past include Mary Chris Mas, VeyonceRihanna, Lord Voldemort, Abcd, and Glhynnyl Hylhyr Yzzyghyl.
