MANILA, Philippines - One of the festivals most people look forward to is the Kadayawan Festival. Its raison d’etre is to honor Davao’s many gifts from the town’s bountiful harvest to its rich artistic and cultural heritage.
As a means of thanksgiving and celebration, floral floats are showcased during the Kadayawan Parade.
Something new this year was the participation of Dole Philippines. For the Pamulak grand parade, the brand commissioned a show-stopping float adorned with different flowers and trinkets local to Davao. Dole also contributed to the revelry when it awarded products and cash to the winners of Indak-Indak sa Kadalanan. In line with their “This Is My Dole†campaign, Dole Philippines proved that there really is a Dole for every Filipino by giving out samples of their different product offerings as a cool-down drink and snack.
