MANILA, Philippines - Raminad Ong will represent the Philippines and Asia in the forthcoming “TGIFriday’s World Bartending Championship” in Dallas, Texas and he needs your votes online!
Ram, a veteran bartender from TGIFriday’s Malate, bested contenders from local Friday’s branches and competed in and won the Asian Bartending Tilt in Malaysia. Now, his eyes are set on the world bartending crown!
Slated this February, the TGIFriday’s World Bartending Championship (WBC) is an annual event that brings together all of Friday’s best bartenders from across the globe to compete in the mixology tests, mastery of bar mechanics, including technical knowledge and accuracy and in the exhilarating bottle-flipping and drink-tossing freestyle competition. It is the “mother” of all bartending contests that brings so much action, fun and excitement made possible by the techniques and the awesome display of bartending flairs.
