Think pink

Go ahead and jump: The symmetry and pattern of London architecture infused with the wildness of Turner seascapes colors Thomas Pink’s fall/winter collection.

MANILA, Philippines - The symmetry and pattern of London architecture infused with the wildness of Turner seascapes was the starting point for the Thomas Pink fall/winter 2014 collection.

The contrast of orderly pattern and riotous elemental force combines to produce a collection rich in graphic detail, color and texture. Rough-hewn British wools and tweeds mingle with smooth poplins and superfine shirting fabric and contribute to the strong layering theme.

Shirts include dots and stripes, puppytooth patterns and Prince of Wales checks for prominence. Vivid color highlights the eye of the storm with sea greens, turquoises, watery blues, burnt umbers and luminous yellows.

Part of the Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessey group, Thomas Pink is a British shirt maker with flagship stores in London’s Jermyn Street, Madison Avenue, New York and Rue Francois Premier, Paris.
