Tugonon was recently chosen as one of the 100 candidates for the global search for NU Muses, a brainchild of  the founder of treats! Magazine, Steve Shaw and photographer David Bellemere.

From the 100 candidates, only 20 will be chosen via online voting. From the pool of 20 girls, only 12 will be featured in a luxurious and timeless photographic calendar. Aside from the calendar feature, the winners will also receive $10,000 and will star in a documentary film for a major US cable network.

Tugonon took to Instagram to ask for help as she hopes to be qualified for the next round.

As per the latest tally of the voting, Tugonon ranks first with 7,628 votes. She is quickly followed by Jessica Clements with 7,307 votes. Voting will only be until September 17, 5:00 p.m. PST

Based on Tugonon's profile on the website, she wants to be in the calendar to be globally known and to excel in the industry. She describes herself as someone who is kind and confident.

After representing the Philippines in the Miss Universe pageant in 2012, Tugonon left the Philippines in 2013 to chase her dream of becoming a well-known model.
