L’Indochine x Heyjow: A boho-chic collaboration

L’indochine+Heyjow inspiration seekers Leona Panutat, Charlene Carlos and Joana Ballesteros-Gube look forward to their new adventure with their new boho-themed accessories collection.

MANILA, Philippines - L’Indochine collaborates with Heyjow for a collection of expertly curated and exquisitely designed jewelry.

#LindochineLovesHeyjow is a partnership of three inspiration seekers who all share the love of seeking beautiful things around the world.  With these travels come exciting stories, and a culture of innovation, exploration, and experimentation.

L’Indochine is a store known for its eclectic modern Asian finds and interiors. These include fashion items, furniture, and home accents, which are handmade by skilled craftsmen and local artisans from Thailand, Indonesia, India, and other Asian countries.

Heyjow designer Joana Ballesteros Gube, on the other hand, meticulously sources raw materials by scouring all corners of the globe: from the exotic land of Turkey to the Middle East to the magnificent South American continent. Largely inspired by allure of tropical beaches and the mesmerizing world she witnesses when she goes scuba diving, Joana creates bold yet feminine pieces that combine classic charm with boho sensibilities.

“I have always been a fan of L’Indochine,” says Joana.“The carefully curated pieces that Leona and Charlene feature in their stores are unique and embody interesting stories behind them.  After every visit, I end up creatively inspired, and also with a shopping bag full of L’Indochine items.

Each piece is eye-catching and elegant, balanced with a sense of down-to-earth charm. “The pieces in this collection are versatile — you can wear them while you’re lounging at the beach, while you’re out on a dinner date, and even at the office with a nice blazer for a bit of pop.

In the #LindochineLovesHeyjow jewelry collection, all brass metal used are dipped in 22k matte gold from Turkey. The raw stones are from Malaysia and Thailand, while the silk and Afghan bead tassels are hand strewn from Turkey.

“Just like all the other pieces that we bring into our stores, the #LindochineLovesHeyjow collection has a story to tell,” says L’Indochine’s Charlene Carlos. “The highlight of the collection is the Jewelry Bar allows one to customize their own three-layer necklace, and let their creations tell their own story.

What makes the #LindochineLovesHeyjow special is that “each piece is limited in quantity and no two are exactly the same. Joana painstakingly assembles the jewelry by hand and the fact that each layered necklace is made to the customer’s liking makes it extra special and personal,” says L’Indochine’s Leona Panutat.

L’Indochine stores are located at the 4th level of SM Mega Fashion Hall and at the 3rd level of SM Aura Premier.
